ABOUT

Hablando Franco Podcast was launched on March 6th, 2017 by Antonio Elías and Mitch Roldan. A first of its kind Spanish language political news podcast co-hosted by two individuals dedicated to the service of their communities. However, it is important for us to state that we are not journalists, we are also not unbiased, and the opinions that we have are certainly not always right. This is a space to listen, reflect, ask questions and maybe even find some answers. The co-hosts strive to bring an engaging perspective on current events while unapologetically challenging the dominant narrative through a Mexican-American lens.

Our co-hosts, Violeta Hernandez Espinosa and Antonio Elías, bring unique life understandings and experiences that are both inspirational and informative to their communities. Hablando Franco Podcast has been featured in the MN Daily, MNPost, Radio Notas Univision Minnesota, and was named one of the top five social innovations links in March, 2017 by the New Profit Inc. Join them in reflecting on the current state of news and politics while looking for ways to make a difference in their communities.
